Introducing the White Stripe Century Plant which is probably one of the most beautiful and dramatic of all the Agaves. Interestingly curved leaves are olive green on the outside margins with a brilliant, bold, white stripe down the center. This stunning agave doesn’t get as large as its other ‘americana’ brothers, remaining about 3 1/2′ high and about as wide. Perfect as a large potted specimen in earthen tone pots, it also serves as a striking architectural element in southwest or Mediterranean landscapes. Thriving in full sun to part shade, this plant is drought-tolerant but appreciates occasional deep watering.
